If you are planning to use QuickBooks Enterprise Gold or Platinum Edition (or this could also apply to Premier with a payroll add-on), this product includes Enhanced Payroll, which is a US-based payroll product.
As an international business, you can still use Enhanced Payroll, but as a Basic Edition. There are a few things to remember:
1. While you can definitely use multi-currency, you need to ensure that the home currency is set to US Dollar. You can still set up list names in foreign currency, but bank feeds and payroll modules need US Dollar to work to specification. (Side note - you can still import bank feeds manually from csv if your home currency is set to a non-US Dollar).
2. You will not use the payroll items as set up in the payroll module. Your use will be as a Basic Payroll module, because the module does not import your local tax tables and is structured from the US tax system. Once you do this, you should be able to use your product to do your necessary payroll tasks.
